About me and my babies
Hi, I’m C, a dog mom turned baby mama, and the creator behind Tails & Tiny Toes.
Long before I was preparing for a newborn, I was deep in the world of routines, training plans, enrichment ideas, and behaviour tracking. My dog wasn’t “just a pet”, she was my first baby. And she’s reactive.
She’s loving and loyal, but also sensitive and easily overstimulated. So when I found out I was pregnant, the excitement came with real questions: How would she handle a baby?
Would the noise, change, and visitors overwhelm her?
Thankfully, she’s doing beautifully. But we never relied on hope alone. We weren’t willing to risk it or trust blindly. We prepared carefully, adjusted routines gradually, studied body language, and created clear boundaries before baby arrived.
That preparation changed everything.
Why I Created This Space
When I started preparing, I found endless baby checklists — but very few resources created specifically for dog moms, especially those with reactive or sensitive dogs. So I built my own systems. Tails & Tiny Toes exists to help dog moms transition into motherhood safely and confidently — without panic, guilt, or guesswork.
