About Me
Hi, I’m C. Mama to a beautiful baby boy, dog mum to Luna (a reactive rescue who has taught me more about patience than I ever expected), and someone who has always found a way to make things beautiful — even when life felt anything but.
I started Tails & Tiny Toes because when I was pregnant, I had so many questions and felt completely lost. And honestly? I still do sometimes. This site is me figuring it out in real time — and bringing you along.
Getting pregnant wasn’t straightforward for me. I have PCOS, so when it finally happened it felt like an absolute dream — but it came with a lot of anxiety too. Then, just before my baby arrived, I was made redundant. No income, a baby on the way, and a reactive dog who I was terrified would struggle with a newborn in the house.
Luna surprised me. She has been so respectful around him from day one — careful, gentle, curious in the sweetest way. We still keep a close eye on them together, because that’s just responsible dog parenting, but watching her fall in love with him in her own quiet way has been one of my favourite things about this season.
The newborn phase, though? That hit me hard in a way I didn’t expect. My baby was good — truly, genuinely easy — but my hormones were all over the place and I didn’t feel that connection people talk about. Not until around two months in. If you’ve been there, I want you to know: you’re not broken. It comes.
Why this site exists
After having my baby I knew I didn’t want to go back to corporate. I wanted to be present, flexible, and home — but I also wanted to contribute, to build something, to use my brain. So I started here.
I’ve always loved designing. Before I moved country, my friends and I ran a small party planning business — I designed invitations, signage, decorated venues. I love making things that feel special without costing a fortune. That’s the whole idea behind my templates: why pay an Etsy shop €30 for something you could make yourself in Canva for a fraction of the price?
And that’s what I want to show you here. How to make beautiful things at home. How to find the products actually worth buying. How to build a little something of your own — even when you’re exhausted, even when the baby won’t sleep, even when you feel like you have no idea what you’re doing. Because I’m right there with you.
